Cafe East

If you are from East London and you haven’t visited Cafe East, you are sleeping on the job!

Based in Roman Road, Cafe East is a much loved East End breakfast joint. Their menu offers a wide range of things to choose from, whether it be Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner. Because the cafe is quite small and very busy please expect to share a table and wait outside in a line to be seated- with that said it is totally worth the wait.img_0955

I always tend to get different things when I go to Cafe East. However I have now fallen in love with their Full House which I find very satisfying and simple – baked beans, grilled tomatoes, salty bacon, portabello mushrooms, one fried egg, sausage and some hash browns. The pricing is very reasonable and you get what you pay for. You can expect to spend about £11 inc one of their amazing freshly squeezed juices.

The very one thing that caught my attention and made me want to pay the cafe a visit is all the nice fresh fruits they put on their plates. I am honestly not one to eat all my fruits but I just love the fact that it is on my plate as it compliments the whole breakfast. Literally most of their plates are run through with colour which makes their presentation skills top notch.

The atmosphere is excellent with soft music playing in the background. Staff are attentive and are always checking for your well-being before your food arrives, during and after. They are also very chilled yet professional with the way they work.

All in all, these guys do the best Breakfast I’ve ever had. Addictive.

Whatever the reason, don’t go there if you are in a rush but if you have loads of time to spare then go get yourself some awesome food!
