The Listing

Hi Tasters and welcome.

Well where do I start with this restaurant..

The Listing is suited in London’s Cannon Green only a few minutes from the station.

Price Range – £20-£30pp

Open: Monday -Friday

I tend to get very nervous when trying out new restaurants as I do not know what to expect but my experience at The Listing has changed my whole perception.

From the moment I walked in I knew it was going to be a great evening. The atmosphere, scenery and location of the restaurant was very nice and all the staff members were amazing and attentive. All the food I tried was great from the starter to the dessert.

Starter – Prawn Lollipops with sweet chilli & soy – £6.95

This was well cooked and seasoned to taste, so if you are a fan of prawns look no further and get ordering!

Main – Seabass with braised fennel, spinach & chorizo- £13.95

I am not over exaggerating but this was one of if not the best Seabass I’ve ever tried in my life. It was very flavoursome and cooked to perfection.

Sides – Trio Of Fries – cowboy, louisiana & Roman.

My favourite two were the louisiana & roman fries.

Dessert – Chocolate Brownie with vanilla ice cream – £5.95

After my starter I was unsure where I was going to put my dessert…but I managed. Even though I did not finish my dessert, the little I ate was very tasty, the ice cream was very rich.

To wash all down I was offered Macon-Uchizy,Domaine Talmard white wine recommended by the manager Alex, which I thought was rich in taste.

Overall the restaurant was amazing and so was the interior, from the main entrance to the toilet, you can tell a lot of effort has been put in to make the restaurant what it is.

I just want to thank the waiter Gallas and the Manager Alex for making my time at The Listing worthwhile. It was excellent and I will be returning.
